About PACLIC
The Pacific Asia Conference on Language, Information and Computation (PACLIC) is a premier annual international conference that has brought together researchers in linguistics, computational linguistics, and natural language processing for four decades. Since 1987, PACLIC has served as a vital forum for advancing language science across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
PACLIC 40 will be hosted in Taipei, Taiwan, a vibrant intellectual and cultural hub where cutting-edge technology meets rich linguistic diversity. This milestone 40th edition invites scholars worldwide to explore the intersections of language, computation, and cultural diversity in the age of artificial intelligence.

Call for Papers
PACLIC 40 invites submissions of original research papers in linguistics, computational linguistics, natural language processing, and related disciplines.
Submission at a Glance
Up to 8 pages of content, excluding references and appendices.
ACL 2026 two-column format using official ACL style files.
Double-blind. Authors must not indicate names or affiliations.
All submissions must be written in English.
Registration
Registration opens October 1, 2026. Early bird rates are available until November 20, 2026. Fee details will be announced closer to the registration opening.

Registration Portal
The registration portal will open on October 1, 2026. Payment can be made securely via credit card. A confirmation email will be sent upon successful registration.

- 100% refund if cancelled before October 31, 2026
- 50% refund if cancelled before November 20, 2026
- 0% refund after November 20, 2026
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the organizing committee. Substitution of a registered delegate is permitted at no additional charge.

PACLIC 40 will be held in Taipei, Taiwan. Taipei is well-connected internationally and offers a rich cultural experience for all visitors.
